It's interesting how we often use the phrase, "Time just flew by" -
the hour still did take 60 minutes to go by and the minute still took 60 seconds to go by -
Yet, it caught us by surprise...
Well 2010 has been like that for many of us - As a new parent, there is never enough hours in the day to spend with the new bundle of joy, bundle of cries, bundle of diapers and feeds and all things that come with receiving your order after nine months...
One tiny smile from her however... and the world is already a better place - even in South Africa!!!
Its certainly TIME for us to get more interactive and get things done right on the show and make it more fabulous for you... So visit the blog often and we will certainly do our best to spruce things up and make available some free stuff, from Ring tone downloads to flat-screen televisions - Tune into my radio show and bookmark this blog...
TIME for THE WEEKLY ROUND UP - just as we used to do it in the past...
Flood warnings have been issued in the landlocked City of Gold - the recent battering of rain in Gauteng has left many with wet socks... While it certainly is a sad affair for those who live along the Jukskei River- I do not hear the Dept of Housing, or the Human Settlements minister taking action to alleviate their plight.
JujuFriday - I mean really now... But that is apparently what tomorrow will be called according to the tweets on Twitter...
The ANCYL said it would lay a complaint of fraud against Twitter users purporting to be Julius Malema, and warned that if site administrators did not act swiftly to muzzle them it would move to have Twitter shut down.
One has to really wonder when the members of the ANCYL - will actually make the headlines for having done something productive to uplift our society and country...
No need to put your hand up to answer, Who puts the TWIT in Twitter, yet again...
So if its going to be a thermatic approach, here's my proposal:
Mandela Monday
Trevor Tuesday
Winnie Wednesday
Phusa ... I mean Zuma Thursday
Juju Friday
Sexwale Saturday
Parliament is closed on Sundays.....
While bombs go off in Pakistan and hundreds loose their lives, their national team is all set to play spin doctors against the Proteas in the upcoming test tomorrow... One has to wonder how much of doctoring goes on in the match with the bookies holding the stethoscope to the pitch?
A quotation by St. Augustine himself:
"Conscience and reputation are two things. Conscience is due to yourself, reputation to your neighbour."
This is something which was certainly not considered by the Netcare group at the St. Augustines Hospital in Durban. Cabinet welcomed the court decision to impose fines against Netcare KwaZulu-Natal for the unlawful surgeries whereby human kidneys were illegally acquired and transplanted.
Well, now we know where those kidneys went to when you think of that 'urban legend' - after waking up in a bath tub filled with ice and having an excruciating pain on your lower back...
So watch your back, lower, don't be a twit/ twat/ twit-ever and check back on this blog real soon...
Peace
