Farewell... but not Goodbye...

She would have been 104 years on the day she was cremated... In a year she would have celebrated 150 years of the arrival of her parents to South Africa as indentured laborers...

My grandmother, the Great Mrs. P. Ramdhin was sadly called to rest yesterday(14 Sep 09)... A Woman of immense courage, strength and will. She is loved and missed...

Metaphysics, spiritual scriptures, religious practices and tradition has taught us that the Soul continues its journey to Moksha...

Thank you for the being the mother, grandmother and inspiration for several generations of the Ramdhin Family.

Asato ma sat gamaya (From illusion lead me to the Truth);

Tamaso ma jyotir gamaya (From darkness lead me to Light);

Mrityur ma amritam ganmya (From death lead me to Immortal -

(Bryhad Aranyak Upanishad 1.3.28)

My musical tribute to her.

  1. Her mission in this life was to see your smooth transition towards the next, that you remember the Supreme being and act and deed. At this juncture when He recalled her, I'm sure angels must have whispered ' well done, now you must enjoy the finer joys of life'.
